Harlow Hill can trace its roots back to 1905 where the Harrogate F.A handbook for the season 1905/06 registers the club as a member along with other familiar still surviving clubs such as Harrogate United, Pateley Bridge, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge and Ripon united.
Our longest serving member and current president and treasurer Mr Malcolm Hendry who is fondly known as 'Mr Harlow Hill' joined the club in1959 after having done his national service in the R.A.F. He started as a player but after an early injury he was asked to join the Harlow committee. During his 50 years with the club he has performed all roles including president, chairman and manager to both the 1st and 2nd teams.
Harlow Hill has won most of the trophies in local football including the Whitworth cup, Hulme cup and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd division titles but has yet to win the premier title and County cup.
The club is still called Harlow Hill even though we are based at Oatlands working mens club and play our home games on Hookstone Park, this came about when the Council attempted to drain the Harlow Hill pitch; resulting in us having to find an alternative pitch. We played at Ashville College for 1 season and were then heading for the stray but as Hookstone Rovers were disbanding we were offered the pitch on Hookstone Park and have remained there for the last 18 years.
Our most recent successes as a club were in the 2003/04 season when we won the division 1 title, sweeping all opposition aside to comfortably return to the premier league; that year we won the double by also winning the league cup.
Currently the club is running 2 teams; the 1st team are in the premier league managed by Dave Lowe and the 2nd team are in division 2 managed by Tony Diver. The club at present has a vibrant social agenda with the majority of players being close friends and is focused on football fun but both sides are keen to enjoy more success and to bring more silverware to 'Mr Harlow Hill' especially the elusive premier title.

In 2007 Harlow Hill designed a crest to further promote the development of the club, the crest will become synonymous with all of our activities both on and off the pitch; including being displayed on our club tracksuits and polo shirts as well as any future merchandise.
The crest is simple in design, decorated in the club colours and based on a twin circular shape to symbolise the clubs continuous strengths. The inner circle concentrates on the football history and tradition of the club which was established in 1905 and the outer circle focuses on the player unity, fun and friendship element of the club. It contains the latin motto 'bibamus, moriendum est' which when translated means 'Let us drink, for we must die'.
