Game 8 Cup 20/09/08 Harlow Hill 7 - 0 Dalton Medley 2, Pears 2, Nowakowski, Mallon, Vale

Game 7 League 13/09/08 Harlow Hill 0 -2 Westbrook

Game 6 League 06/09/08 Harlow Hill 3 - 2 Burley Mallon, Vale, Medley

Early Harlow pressure should of led to the returning Mckenzie scoring shortly followed by the also returning to the Harlow fold a rusty Martin Vale missed a one on one after trying to go round the keeper. The rust soon eased with a spray of WD40 and Vale smashed home a super strike into the top right hand corner after a neat one two with Sean. Kev Towers then allowed the ball to bounce thinking he had time but a Burley midfielder nipped in and struck a half volley past Simon. Burley started the second half the stronger and after a long ball caught out Silvers they took the lead. Harlow resumed dominance and Vale should of netted his second. A golden tanned Nowakowski then turned into Kaka sending across a sublime cross, Pearsi nodded back across goal for Sean to poke home. Pearsi then could of scored but sent the ball into orbit before then being felled, he argued relentlessly with the referee only for the calming influence of Sean to bring some control. Meds secured the Harlow winner from a grass cutter strike.

Game 5 League 30/08/08 Harlow Hill 2 - 4 Sherwood Reccia, Mallon

Recci got this game off to a flyer as he struck a long goal kick from his hands and after a couple of bounces it nestled in the Sherwood net, maybe we then believed the game was to be an easy victory but no..... Four goals were conceded as heads went down and Sherwood just passed the ball through us scoring with some impressive finishes. Our bogey team again getting the upper hand over us. Only a late Mallon goal from a neat swivel and turn half volley after good work from Meds gave us some respectability but in all honesty a really depressing loss

Game 4 League 26/08/08 Harlow Hill 4 - 2 Pannal Sports Hartley, Duncan 2, Chetcutti

Final evening game and at last we put in a performance! We should of conceded early on after a goal mouth scramble led to the ball crossing the line but the referee was unsighted and we were lucky. Hartley grabbed his first of the season from a mis hit volley that could of been sailing wild but for a kind deflection after a corner from Wilk. Luke put us two up after some nifty foot work at the near post. Then normal Harlow resumed as we conceded from an incorrectly awarded free kick, Simon too busy sorting his wall and he dived over the ball just too late. Substitutions made and Danny Chetcutti calmly slotted under an advancing keeper for his first Harlow goal. We conceded a second almost immediately as our centre midfield just let their runners advance and worry set in until Dave Jones magically danced out of defence skinning player after player before releasing Sean who in turn set Luke away to race towards goal and crash home a cross come shot. Well earned 3 points.

Game 3 League 23/08/08 Harlow Hill 0 - 3 Otley Town

Our first game at home and the hope that our pitch would come to our aid after a terrible start to our season but with the grass being far too long we again played well within ourselves and crashed to a 3-0 defeat. All of the goals coming in the first half with us gifting all 3 goals with player error and poorly placed passes. The first from a cut out pass from DC, the second with the ball lost down the right our defence couldn't rescue the situation and the third an easy header home after the ball sailed over Simon inside his six yard box. Frustrations are setting in and we need to improve fast.

Game 2 League 19/08/08 Harlow Hill 1 - 4 Pateley Bridge Mallon

This was a night game on a spongy deep grassed pitch where all we managed to do was argue amongst ourselves and did not put up much of a performance at all. A long ball not cleared in confusion by Wilk left their striker with a comfortable tap in header, this was followed by a rocket left footer and another tap in to leave us once again 3 down. We pulled 1 back after a long throw from Meds into their box was calmly slotted home by Sean but after a second half of just defending long balls and barely no attacking play we were defeated 4-1. In all honesty it could of been worse but for a super save from Ant although we won't describe Pateley's fourth!!!

Game 1 League 16/08/08 Harlow Hill 1 - 5 Bramham Medley

Harlow began their season campaign with high hopes and a quickly re-arranged away fixture at Bramham, with tactics primed and an excellent warm up from new senior coach Mr Michael Bligh we started the game with confidence. Early chances came....and went with much success being had down the right with Meds ruling his larger opponent! Then 5 minutes of madness and poor defending left us 3-0 down and out of the game. The long ball and some good finishing from ex Leeds Utd and Dutch striker Clyde Wijnhard left us heading to half time in pieces. Only a late penalty smashed home from Medley gave us some hope. The second half was closer and we had good passages of play but again after a super lob from fully 40 yards left Simon rooted we left the field in a 5-1 defeat
